Calvary Christian High School is committed to providing a Christian education for the next generation of leaders and beyond. In order to provide this environment we strive to hire gifted teachers who love their calling, their students and their God. We also desire to provide a permanent home for Calvary Christian High School.

To realize this large vision, the School Board, in partnership with the generous support of people, foundations and corporations who believe in a Christian education, has adopted a five year strategic operating plan that will reach, maintain and exceed all of its six major initiatives.

These initiatives are:

I. Maintaining Christ at the center of all that we do

A. Establish appropriate board policies that we do not stray from the Biblical foundations that have guided CCHS since our inception in 2001.
B. Provide professional development funds for faculty to continue to grow in their understanding and communication of Biblical principles in their teaching.
C. Commit resources for personnel who will pray, strategize and lead specific efforts to strengthen the spiritual formation of our students.
D. Continue to develop a student leadership culture where all students are "called out" to take leadership roles in serving God, the CCHS community and the world around them.

II. Enable the faculty to be "scholar mentors"

A. Provide increased funding to allow faculty to develop professionally through graduate studies, professional conferences, participation in curriculum development in special projects.
B. Provide compensation for faculty and staff that approximates that of similar independent schools and comparable Christian schools based on a career ladder model.
C. Provide adequate financial support to be able to continue to recruit outstanding faculty members and to provide adequate levels of staffing to support an excellent program.

III. Raising the bar in our educational programs

A. Obtain and maintain full accreditation with ACSI, and WASC.
